Abhorrent Ghoul King with Crown of Delusion Unboxing – Warhammer Age of Sigmar
This Boxing Day a horrific image of a noble king is seen thorough the lens of a feral undead creature with the new Abhorrent Ghoul King with Crown of Delusion!
Massive thanks to Games Workshop for sending us a free early review copy to unbox and paint up for the site! If you would like to support the site then why not order your Warhammer supplies through our affiliate Element Games and save yourself some money too!
We also have a full unboxing video of the new model over on YouTube or down below!
So for the last few years Games Workshop have been putting out some awesome limited edition models over xmas, and this year on Boxing Day you can pick up this beauty!
A new take on the Abhorrent Ghoul King for the Flesh-Eater Courts, he is sitting on a throne and looking particularly regal for a Ghoul!
It’s a pretty easy build – I had hoped you would be able to build him separate from the throne, however as you can see from the above instructions he is built into the chair, so you would probably need to build all his parts separately then assemble if you did want to build him off the chair – In the end I decided to just paint him fully assembled!
He was an absolute joy to paint up however! A really gorgeous model dripping with character! It almost feels like this guy should be a boss battle for Cursed City, and I hope we get some rules in White Dwarf to allow that! I also really hope this is a sign as to what we might get from the future of the Flesh Eater Courts, as they would look great with some new models that follow some of the design cues of this one!
Are you planning on picking this model up? Be sure to let us know!
