Christmas is nearly here, and with it Games Workshop are releasing the 2024 Age of Sigmar Battleforce Boxes! With the news just dropping on the Warhammer Day preview stream, and Warhammer Community currently down, I thought I’d dive into the contents and what the value of the boxes are! At the moment we don’t know how much they are. Recent battleforce boxes cost £135, so will base value on that, though they often have a few at different price points.

**UPDATE – These apparently retail at £150 each**

If you would like to support the site then why not pick up your Age of Sigmar battleforce boxes from our affiliate Element Games?

For comparison see last years!

  1. £80 for 20 Ardboys is kinda insulting when i could get 20 for £20 from the Stormbringer magazine…

    1. Don’t forget thay was at a massive discount via the magazine, the RRP of the box is £40 for 10

      1. Completely, and the magazine is sadly no longer available. But it does make the perceived value much lower – yes the box is good against the retail price but I for one can’t get past the immediate feeling of it being overpriced because of the stormbringer price and so will probably just leave it (I really don’t need even more models anyway!).

  2. Hi ! Thanks for the review.
Not so great boxes this year except maybe the Nurgle one but I’m not aware of the playable value of it.
Last year boxes were amazing, I’m kinda disappointed. So I will pass this year.

  3. Just to add to my previous comment, last year we had angron box, norn emmissary tyranid box, league of Votann box, Cadian, Seraphon box with Slann kroxigors and saurus warriors, eternus box with nothing to put aside and so on…
This year seem really to be level down.
Would have been great to have a Ushoran box, Vizzik Skour box, Kroot box (i think I remember it should be the year of the kroots ?), and so on.
The good side of this announcement (there is always a good side) is that I will save money.

  4. […] So a decent assortment of 40k Battleforce boxes this year, and I’m very interested if the cost will be £135 a box – if so, then some of these boxes are real bargains! Are you going to pick any up? Let us know! We’ve also got the Age of Sigmar Battleforce contents and value here too! […]
