OK, so most (probably all of you in fact…) of you would have guessed it, but this was an April Fools post. It joins a growing catalogue of posts we’ve done on the 1st April including our look at the Warhammer Cinematic Universe and the Warhammer/Pepsi crossover!

This is a HUGE story, so big you may need to read this twice to take it in!

Warhammer 40,000 has been rumoured to be getting a new edition in 2026, which ties into the timescale of previous editions of the game.

We are hearing from super reliable sources this morning that Games Workshop are to drop generic Space Marines.

That’s right, ALL generic Space Marines are going to LEGENDS!

It’ll will leave Space Marines Chapters with a dedicated Codex, such as Blood Angels and Dark Angels.

This appears to be driven by Games Workshop being fed up of people complaining about Space Marines always getting new models.
