Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol Partwork Magazine Coming Soon

We are big fans of the Hachette Partworks Games Workshop magazine runs, so when news dropped (I think Fauxhammer had the exclusive reveal!) about a new Warhammer 40k magazine run I was very interested! This time the main pull of the magazine is that this collection contains 9 complete Combat Patrol sets, along with an additional bonus kit for each faction giving players a nice starter force for a large number of the Warhammer 40,000 factions! All we have at the moment are some low resolution images and scatted info – so I’ll be pulling together what we know here and breaking down the full contents of the magazine series along with what the premium subscription extra are! As more info drops I’ll be updating this post to make sure we have all the correct information right here.

So what factions are in the run and what do you get?

Combat patrol £95

– 1x World Eaters Lord on Juggernaut, which can alternatively be built as Lord Invocatus
– 10x Jakhals
– 20x Khorne Berzerkers

I think another 10 Jakhals may be included too, but it’s hard to tell from the blurry image – if so this is an extra £32.50 value

That is a whole stack of kits weighing in at a value of £1175 over 80 issues costing £9.99 (though issue 1 is £2.99, issue 3 is £6.99 and issue 3 is free for subscribers) meaning a saving of £395 over the total cost of £780 – And this cost doesnt include the 31 paints that will total around £100

As with previous magazine runs there is also the option for a Premium subscription – this normally costs a few quid extra per issue but gives you access to some additional goodies:

And as ever there will be some subscriber exclusive extra too:

Now the big question is when is Combat Patrol magazine released? Well as with all Hachette Partworks, they tend to start with a “trial run” to ensure that there is enough demand for the magazine – this normally runs for the first 4 issues before the full magazine run returns later. Optimistically I’d put the full launch of the magazine as Q4 2024 or even Jan 2025 based on what we have seen previously – though we will update this article once we know more!
