GenCon 2021 has just kicked off and what better way to start the show than to reveal season five of Warhammer Underworlds – Harrowdeep !

Inside this new starter set are Xandire’s Truthseekers, the first of the new Thunderstrike Stormcast to grace Warhammer Underworlds who are pitted against Da Kunnin’ Krew, the brand new Kruleboyz war band.

Inside the box are also all of the boards, cards (enough for two pre made decks and some extras), tokens, and dice you need to get started which is great for seasoned veterans, brand new players or people like me people who are just getting back into Warhammer Underworlds.

Warhammer Community have shared some interesting details such as the “Rivals” format which uses pre-set decks rather than utilising deck building (Dont worry however, classic deck building is still a valid game mode too!)

Unlike the previous season of Warhammer Underworlds which was set in Ghur ( the realm of beasts ) this season will take place in Ulgu ( the realm of shadow ) which has me very excited as we haven’t really seen that much of Ulgu and this gives me the impression that we are about to get a lot more info on the realm; oh and did I mention that Harrowdeep, as the name suggests, is set deep beneath the seas in Ulgu……. sounds very fishy to me … hehe.
