June is over and with it comes another hobby goal update, if I had to predict the category that would I probably not finish it would be the reading category so it is a surprise that I have now completed two reading goals, by reading White Dwarf issue 500 ! I have completed another goal which you can see below.

White Dwarf issue 500 was a bumper issue but my favourite part was the big linked battle report with kill team, boarding actions and a big game of 40k all being connected was great to read as well as the history of the White Dwarf magazine. Special shout out to the poster that came with the issue which had a picture of every white dwarf front cover on as I got to see covers from when I got into the hobby more than 20 years ago, am I old now ?

The rest of the month was spent building more scenery for kill team / 40k specifically the Moroch, Beta Decima and Termination scenery kits all built now I have a decent amount of grim dark scenery to paint, I did manage to paint up the Royal Beastflayers for my warcry / kill team challenge which were a dream to paint.

I set myself the goal of painting some Tomb Kings which I did not get around to doing and painting some more marvel crisis protocol which despite building 5 more models for I again did not get around to painting any models for. With that said I am no longer going to the old world event at the end of August which is a shame so I have no rush to get an army done for that event and I did manage to get another two games of MCP in, one of which I actually won so there is that.

Going into July I am going to aim to =

• Paint an old world unit.
• Paint one hero for MCP.
• Play at least one game of 40k (1,000 points)

Hopefully I can get these goals done and get back on track with completing some hobby goals.
