I cannot believe how quickly March has gone it feels like only yesterday that I was playing in my local clubs Age of Sigmar event where I won best sports ( still on a hobby high from that ) but it is now April and that means there is another hobby goal update from me so sit back, relax and grab a brew to check out how March went which you can see below.

Sadly my mini goal last month of completing a hobby goal hasn’t happened but I knew at the beginning of the year that some of my goals would take a while to do. I have made some pretty substantial progress on other hobby goals starting with painting some more models for Marvel Crisis Protocol by completing the MIGHTY THOR ODINSON ! and Valkyrie which I have to say were two of the most enjoyable models that I have painted in a long time and puts me back on track to painting ten MCP models by the end of the year.

I have also been going through a building phase which I find is always needed when you have a bit of a burn out with painting, so in March I have been building a lot of Tomb Kings for the Old World as I am still super pumped to play some games and I am now well on the way to getting some models on the table top but that’s not all I have been building as I have also been building some City States for Conquest the Last Argument of Kings ( I need to know what they are arguing about, sorry bad joke ) with some Phalangites and Minotaur Thyreans from the now previous two player started box built I am on my way to some intro games of conquest and maybe the skirmish version of first blood as well.

All very exciting.

Talking about skirmish games I have started painting some of the models from the Star Wars Shatterpoint core set in the form of Anakin Skywalker, Rex and the 501st Clone troopers, I am not going to lie I do not like painting white armour but with the guide from the painting phase these models were okay to paint over a relatively lazy evening. For Kill Team I also managed to paint up the Hand of the Archon team which I will talk about more in my Kill Team / Warcry challenge article but this team has brought my total number of models painted the year to 36 /100 meaning I am well on track to the goal of painting 100 models this year.

So looking to the end of April and what I want to achieve hobby goal wise

• Paint an MCP model.
• Build the Star Wars shatter point scenery from the core set.
• Paint some Middle Earth.

I’m feeling confident that I can achieve these by my next update but I would also like to get at least one hobby goal done by next month’s update so I might have to listen to an audiobook or actually read something… find out next month.
