Adeptus Titanicus Precept Maniple Battleforce Value Breakdown

This weekend there is a brand new Adeptus Titanicus Battleforce up for pre order in the form of the Precept Maniple – But just how much is this box worth and how much do you save? Today we will be looking at what you get for your money and how it is an excellent basis for starting a new Adeptus Titanicus collection!

Games Workshop often release big boxes with a decent saving to be found for their systems, and Adeptus Titanicus is no different. On Saturday the Precept Maniple Battleforce goes up for pre order at the bargain price of £110 – but just what do you get inside? Well it’s a collection of 5 titans, let’s lake a look at what you get:

Warlord Battle Titan (£65)

Reaver Battle Titan with Melta Cannon and Chainfist (£35)

Warbringer Nemesis Titan (£55)

2 x Warhound Titans (£40)

Total Value £195 (Saving of £85)

Wow, basically if you are going to be buying a Warlord and a Reaver you may as well put down the additional £10 and get 2 Warhounds and a Warbringer thrown in! What about in gaming terms? Well if you wanted to replicate the loadouts on the stock image then this would give you an army clocking in as follows:

Warlord with 2x Belicosa Volcano Cannons and Apocalypse Missile Launchers – 510

Reaver with Melta cannon, Chainfist and Carapace Turbo laser Destructor – 325

Warbringer with Mori Quake Cannon, Volcano Cannon and Laser Blaster – 395

Warhound with Inferno Gun and Turbo Laser Destructor – 220

Warhound with Inferno Gun and Turbo Laser Destructor – 220

Total points – 1670

This has to be the best value Adeptus Titanicus set that Games Workshop have put out, and I’ll certainly be picking one up to start a fledgling Legio Mortis force to face off against my existing Legio Ignatum. At the moment we don’t know how limited this box will be, but I imagine it will fly off the shelves at that price – as ever would recommend getting on the GW website before 10am if you want one!

    • Under the old Epic “scale,” Titans weren’t to scale with anything at all other than each other.

The AT/AI scale has Space Marines at 8mm and everything else to scale with that, which puts it incredibly close to being actually 6mm.

AT Titans and AI planes are now almost perfectly scaled to old Epic vehicles.
