If you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks then you may not know that Duncan Rhodes has announced a brand new skirmish game called Lords & Legends from their new game studio Death Reaper Games!

This is one we’ve been really excited to talk about some more, as we’ve been involved in some play testing behind the scenes and have been keeping the game quiet for a while now – so when Death Reaper were at the UK Games Expo this weekend we knew we had to catch up with the guys to chat more about Lords & Legends!

Roger (mastermind of Luminaria and lore wordsmith) and Duncan (game designer and paint wizard) chat to us about the game itself and how it plays, talk a little about the lore and background Luminaria, explain how and when this is getting released and even give us some insight into what’s coming in the future!

If you’re eager to start painting some Lords & Legends miniatures before release then make sure to head over to the Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy website as the guys have put together a preview pack with both a Ravenweald Soldier and a Voidshadow Legionary! (At the time of writing this is out of stock, but hopefully we see a restock at some point soon!)

The team were kind enough to send us over a set, and we’ll be doing a review with our thoughts on the models once they are painted up!

These preview models are cast in resin, but the core Voidshadow Requiem box will be in plastic on sprues – these are just an early look at what the models will look like! Also, both of these sculpts are unique and different to any models in the core set, allowing you to add a bit of variety to your initial warband (spoilers, maces are ace – so you’ll deffo want this extra one!)
