Warhammer Fest is Back in 2023!

Yup, I’m excited, and you should be too.

The (normally) annual celebration of the Warhammer hobby is returning in it’s traditional guise as a weekend live event that promises reveals, Golden Daemon and much more.

Pre-COVID the last in-person Warhammer Fest took place at the NEC in Birmingham, but next year it’s heading for the first time to the city of Manchester, and more specifically Manchester Central Exhibition Complex (formally known as the GMEX). This vast open spaced building will suit Warhammer Fest perfectly (excellent acoustics in there too, saw Arcade Fire there once…but that’s going off subject a tad…).

A surprise additional to the show is Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team Live, a laser tag experience, with lasguns!

There is even going to be a ticketed only event called the Hobby Challenge. Not only does this unlock an event-exclusive mini, but also the opportunity to create a model/diorama from a mountain of sprues with the chance to win a Scrap Daemon trophy!

In another first there will be ticketed Masterclasses, so you can sit and work on some painting skills with expert painters from GW.

Golden Daemon will be taking place during Warhammer Fest as well as Tournaments for 40k, Age of Sigmar, Warcry, Kill Team and Warhammer Underworlds.

More information on the event can be found at the dedicated Warhammer Fest website, which also includes more information about the venue. You can also follow the latest Warhammer Fest news and updates by keeping tabs on the #warhammerfest2023 hashtag.

The event is taking place between the 29th April and 1st May 2023, with tickets on sale 11th November.

Cannot wait!
