Warhammer 40k Indomitus Launch Box, New Paint Plus Upcoming Necrons and Space Marines
UPDATE – Check out our Unboxing of Indomitus here!
The wait is finally over, Warhammer Community today lifted the lid on what might be the most anticipated 40k box we’ve had for a long time, Indomitus – the launch box for the 9th edition of Warhammer 40,000.
What’s a launch box? Well rather than a starter set that we traditionally see aimed at people new to the game, Indomitus is a 9th edition 40k box aimed at longtime fans who want to get all the new goodies alongside the brand new rulebook!
You won’t see dice and range rulers inside, instead it is jam packed full of new miniatures for the Necrons and Space Marines along with the full hardback rulebook with an exclusive cover.
This looks insanely good value containing:
Space Marines
Primaris Captain
Primaris Lieutenant
Primaris Chaplain
Judicar
3 x Bladegaurd Veterans
Bladeguard Ancient
3 x Eradictors
10 x Assault Intercessors
3 x Outriders
Wow, that’s a lot of Space Marines, and that’s only half of the box as we also get a mountain of new Necrons!
Necrons
Overlord
Royal Warden
Plasmancer
2 x Cryprothralls
Skorpekh Lord
3 x Skorpekh Destroyers
Plasmacyte
Canoptek Reanimator
6 Scarab Swarms
20 Necron warriors
With all these kits this has got to be one of the most jam-packed boxes that Games Workshop have ever put out!
On today’s stream we also learned that we will be getting a new Runelord Brass spray paint along with some new washes to help create the scheme seen on these new models!
Finally, Games Workshop have also given us a glimpse into the future with some new kits that will be following these boxed set in order to reinforce the contents!
You might want to sit down for this one, as they look amazing!!
Space Marine Invader ATV
Firestrike Servo-Turret
Lokhust Heavy Destroyer
Canoptek Doomstalker
Wow!!
We cannot wait for the new 9th edition of Warhammer 40k, and this boxed set (and the models that are following it) look absolutely amazing! Indomitus is out next month! We dont know for sure how much it will cost, however we have a suspicion it will be £120 based on the fact that the GW giveaway for a box launched in July having that value…
